Facilitator Retreat – Registration Now Open – Boston Dates Updated
If you are coaching, teaching or facilitating the work of SRI we encourage you to attend one of these professional development offerings. The annual SRI facilitator retreat is an opportunity to connect with colleagues from around the country and regionally to learn together, work closely with SRI staff and board members, and focus on SRI’s mission of educational equity and excellence.
This year, we are hosting four facilitator retreats, spread out throughout the country, so that facilitators can select a location and time that works best for their schedule. Registration is now open and space is limited at each location.
The retreat dates and locations:
February 16 & 17 – San Antonio, TX
March 23 & 24 – Tucson, AZ
April 6 & 7 – Boston, MA – DATE CHANGE
April 27 & 28 – Miami, FL
We know this is not work we can do alone. Please join us for one of these retreats and stay connected to the work of SRI and continue to grow in your fierce commitment to educational equity and excellence.
Trust for Public Lands
SRI board member Niya Randall, and her 2nd grade students from Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School, are featured in this article about one of the features within her civil rights curriculum. The Trust for Public Land has helped the National Park Service save and restore the home of Martin Luther King Jr. in Atlanta, along with many other homes in the neighborhood. Niya integrates a visit to this neighborhood as part of her curriculum.
