Fall Meeting 2019 -Sponsors and Vendor Opportunities

Do you know an organization that is aligned with the SRI Mission? If so, please help us identify potential sponsors and vendors for our 2019 Fall Meeting. Sponsorships allow us to ensure that SRI tools and practices reach educators and students most in need of transformational learning.

SRI is now accepting applications for sponsorships for Fall Meeting 2019. As a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, sponsorships may be partly or wholly tax-deductible. Sponsors will be acknowledged in the conference program; on the SRI website; throughout the conference space; in the whole-group sessions and in our advertising of the event.

There are several levels of sponsorship available, for individuals and organizations. Click here to learn more about sponsorship.

This year, SRI also has a limited number of exhibitor spaces available. Exhibiting at SRI’s annual conference allows your organization an even greater opportunity to reach SRI affiliates, partners and other community and education stakeholders. Exhibitors receive exhibit space and acknowledgement in the conference program and on the SRI website. Click here for more information about exhibiting.

We expect the 2019 Fall Meeting to be our most well attended Fall Meeting, and anticipate over 350 attendees from across the country to join us in Cambridge. Additionally, our messaging reaches over 7,000 members nationally and internationally.

Do you know an individual or organization who may be interested in sponsorship or exhibiting? Please feel free to share this information with potential sponsors and exhibitors. Please contact Deirdre Williams (deirdre@schoolreforminitiative.org) with any questions.

Two Exciting Learning Opportunities this Summer at Walt Disney World

June 30 – July 3, 2019

After a long school year, you deserve a retreat! Educators of all levels are invited to take part in an unforgettable professional development session at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Spend some time each day with other professionals from around the country exploring transformational learning—and then finish each day relaxing poolside—or maybe catching up with your family in the Disney World theme parks.

LEARNING & LEADING FOR EQUITY
The retreat will be facilitated by Gene Thompson-Grove, a founding member of the School Reform Initiative (SRI). Her work focuses on helping others build the capacity for transformational learning.

This retreat is for educators to reflect on their practice, engage in in-depth conversations with colleagues about teaching, learning and leading for equity, and improve learning for every student.  Specifically, we will:

  • Build our capacity to access, engage, and sustain complex and challenging conversations about equity, identity, and implicit bias that lead to changed practice
  • Identify the dispositions and skills of culturally responsive educators, and explore how to develop these in both ourselves and the colleagues with whom we work
  • Invite feedback on our practice by taking a close, collaborative look at the work we, and our students, produce.
