Dear SRI Community,
As you have heard and seen on the news, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia have been devastated by the hurricane and tropical storms last week, and they are now beginning the long process of clean-up. There are a number of SRI affiliates and partner organizations that have been affected by the storms, in particular one of our partner districts, Craven County Schools in New Bern, NC. Please keep those affected in your thoughts as they work on recovery.
If you are able, please consider a donation to support those affected by this disaster. As parents, students, and teachers come back to their homes and schools, they will have months of clean-up and restoration to deal with, while trying to get back into their routines.
If we learn of any specific requests from our affiliates and partners, we will pass those on through our Facebook and Twitter communication.
