We Need You – Call for Writers!

Do you keep a journal or diary? Do you ever catch yourself writing detailed and organized replies to questions around practice? Do you feel like you are bursting with ideas about collaborative learning, school transformation, and equity? You could be an undiscovered blogger. We need your creativity, passion, and writing!

We are building a cadre of SRI bloggers to write and post monthly to the SRI blog. We would like your help to extend and promote the SRI mission through your writing. Worried about the technology? Don’t be! You can write and draft however you are most comfortable, and I can do the final posting on your behalf, or if you are at all interested in blogging tools, I am happy to support you posting yourself. You have as much or as little to do with the posting technology as you would like. We really need your writing skills!

Time Commitment

Contributors should expect to write or coordinate 1-2 posts per month. Each post should take 1-2 hours to research and draft. It should be a quick and enjoyable experience.

Like everything else we do, this will be a collaborative endeavor. We are building a blogging team who will meet once a month to brainstorm potential topics, share ideas, and think together about how best to support the SRI community through our blog.

If this sounds like something you want to do, please contact me (chris@schoolreforminitiative.org). Our first collaboration meeting will be held Thursday June 2 at 7pm Eastern, with future meetings being determined based on the blogging team members’ schedules. Even if you are not able to make the first collaboration meeting, and you are interested in being an SRI blogger, let me know!

If you are interested or have any questions, please contact me, chris@schoolreforminitiative.org.

Thanks for your support of SRI and helping us grow our international community!

Thank you,

Chris Jones
