National Teacher Appreciation Day

May 3, 2016

Day two of National Teacher Appreciation Week is the actual Teacher Appreciation Day! Today, please consider making a contribution to SRI in the name of a teacher who has made a difference in your life.

Your contribution, in whatever amount, will go directly to support an educator by providing a scholarship or learning grant.  Every year, SRI provides thousands of dollars in scholarship support to educators to attend the annual Winter Meeting or an SRI sponsored professional development seminar.  By growing the Faith Dunne/Nancy Mohr Scholarship Fund, we can provide more opportunities to more educators and help to spread the work of transformational learning with a focus on educational equity and excellence.

Think about a teacher you had when you were a student. Did you have a teacher whose care and compassion has stuck with you all these years?  Think about a teacher who really helped your child achieve something meaningful and great.  Or think about a colleague, whose critical friendship has helped improve your practice.

SRI’s Dream Big Campaign is committed to raise money for educators and schools to have access to SRI professional development, with 100% of the money we raise going directly to educators in the form of scholarships and learning grants.

It’s simple, just click here to make a donation of any amount.  You can make your donation through a fundraising campaign of one of the 19 SRI affiliates who are helping to raise money on our behalf, or you can click on the green donate button at the very bottom of the page to make your donation.

Be sure to visit our website and post a shout out to a teacher on your mind today!

Thank you for your ongoing commitment to creating the schools all kids deserve. Your contributions and support help to keep growing and sustaining an organization that is fiercely committed to educational equity and excellence.

Thank you,
