Only a new wave of vision, courage, and hope can keep us sane- and preserve the decency and dignity requisite to revitalize our organizational energy for the work to be done.” Cornel West

The mission of The School Reform Initiative is to create transformational learning communities that are fiercely committed to educational equity and excellence.  Conversations about racial equity are at the center of a fierce commitment to educational equity and excellence.

We invite you to join us for our Dream Big for Equity event on Wednesday, June 1st from 6:00-8:00 PM, hosted by SRI Board Members Pedro Bermudez and Raquel Diaz. We will be viewing the film Cracking the Code: The Systems of Racial Inequity, and will then engage in reflective dialogue, a core tenant of the work of the School Reform Initiative, to deepen our conversation around the issues of equity within our community and organizations

Please join us Wednesday, June 1st from 6:00-8:00PM at John A Ferguson SHS located at 15900 SW 56th St., Miami, FL.

If you are unable to attend this event, we invite you to learn more about the School Reform Initiative, join our community, and consider supporting our work by making a tax deductible contribution to the SRI Dream Big Campaign – please visit https://schoolreforminitiative.networkforgood.com/projects/14168-sri-board-of-directors-s-fundraiser to donate. The goal of the Dream Big Fundraising Campaign is to raise funds that directly support educators who are committed to equity and excellence for each and every student.
