I got an email yesterday from Donna Isaacs, who is coming to Atlanta from an island off the coast of Maine to Atlanta … she started by saying “Happy Winter Meeting week!” In the midst of feeling stressed about leaving (packing, making copies for the experience on powerful questions I am facilitating on Friday afternoon, finishing up on urgent/important work projects, buying groceries and doing laundry for my family, who can do that on their own but makes me feel better to do), I am just starting to focus on the learning I am looking forward to doing and the people I am looking forward to seeing. I am vacillating between two pieces of work I need feedback on – and a protocol for school visits that needs work – and am wondering if I can have more than one feedback session! Probably not!
