Hello SRI Community –

There are so many exciting elements to the 2013 Winter Meeting that we can’t possibly share them all in one message!  The San Antonio-based planning team has put together an amazing schedule of events for Day Two of Winter Meeting.  On Friday morning, participants will have a choice of over a dozen options for Extended Learning Experiences including site visits to schools throughout San Antonio.

Registered participants will be invited to select an Extended Learning Experience prior to arriving in San Antonio in January.  Session choices will include both school visits to San Antonio schools where the SRI mission, its practices, principles, and processes are part of the school life and culture. There will also be thematic learning sessions guided by the SRI mission of educational equity, excellence and transformational learning and led by SRI practitioners from across the country.  Among these will be sessions with the authors of  Reaching Out to Latino Families of English Language Learners, Leading for Powerful Learning: A Guide for Instructional Leaders and Going Online with Protocols: New Tools for Teaching and Learning.

Registered participants will be invited to select their first and second choices in the coming weeks. Register now and be sure to attend your first choice Extended Learning Experience.
