Florida Friends – Join Us for a Dream Big for Equity Event
SRI Board Members Pedro Bermudez and Raquel Diaz are hosting a Dream Big for Equity evening on Wednesday, June 1st from 6-8:00 PM in Miami. The event will include a viewing of the film Cracking the Code: The Systems of Racial Inequity, followed by an opportunity for participants to engage in reflective dialogue to deepen the conversation around the issues of equity within the community and organizations.

Vote for Kim Carter and the QED Foundation – Lawrence W. O’Toole Award
SRI Affiliate Kim Carter is the Executive Director of the QED Foundation. She has been nominated for the Lawrence W. O’Toole Award from the Nellie Mae Foundation. This award recognizes an individual, organization, school, or district exhibiting great leadership through innovation or courage in moving forward student-centered approaches to learning.
Kim is fiercely committed to students, and is actively involved in local, state and national education reform efforts. You can learn more about the work Kim and the QED Foundation are doing, and take a few minutes to vote for Kim!
