Board Election Now Open
Have you voted yet? There is an amazing slate of candidates running for a position on the SRI board of directors. If you are a current affiliate, you should have already received a ballot to vote. Voting will be open until midnight on December 11th.
If you are not yet an SRI Affiliate but would like to participate in this election, you may do so by completing the affiliate form found at schoolreforminitiative.wildapricot.org/page-1650134. Once you’ve submitted an affiliation form, a ballot will be sent to you via email. It should arrive within 12 hours of your affiliation form submission. If you do not receive a ballot or have difficulty completing the form, please contact Chris at chris@schoolreforminitiative.org. Once you affiliate through the link above, you will receive an annual reminder to renew your affiliation with SRI.

Winter Meeting Early Bird Registration Deadline – November 30th
Winter Meeting is just about eight weeks away! We are looking forward to seeing everyone in sunny Miami. Just a quick reminder that the early bird registration deadline is November 30th. This is the deadline to register in order to receive the discounted registration fees.

Already registered? Don’t forget to look at the amazing pre-conferences available. There is still space available in many of the pre-conferences. If you have already registered, but forgot to register for a pre-conference, that’s ok! You can still register by following the registration link and registering for just the pre-conference you are interested in. Learn more about the pre-conferences and register today!
Winter Meeting – Looking for a Roommate?
Are you planning to attend Winter Meeting? Would you like to offset your hotel costs by sharing a room with another attendee? We have a few attendees who are looking to save money by sharing a hotel room at Winter Meeting. To make these connections easier, we have set-up a Google Document for participants to connect with one another. If you are looking for a roommate, go to the Roommate Request Google Doc and share your contact information or find the contact information of another attendee and you can connect!
