New Teachers Collaborative Learn to Teach in Student-Centered Classrooms

Now entering our fourteenth year of exemplary teacher preparation, New Teachers Collaborative is full-year apprenticeship model that leads to initial licensure in Massachusetts.  Through this post-baccalaureate program, candidates learn to teach by teaching in small, progressive middle and high schools that foster deep understanding, and where students are known well.

Grounded in teacher collaboration and reflective practice, NTC offers a stimulating cohort, bi-weekly seminars, and careful support through co-teaching and mentoring. Candidates receive a living stipend, and NTC provides all books and resources. Through our university partnership, candidates may also earn up to 15 graduate credits toward a master’s degree.

NTC IS CURRENTLY ENCOURAGING APPLICATIONS FROM CANDIDATES IN ENGLISH, MATH, SCIENCE, SPANISH, PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND HEALTH.

People of color are strongly encouraged to apply.
