Eligibility to Vote in the Upcoming SRI Board Election

The nominations for the board elections have recently closed, and we are preparing to open the election for voting. We will have an impressive slate of candidates from which to select only three open seats on the SRI Board of Directors. We hope all of you will participate in this important organizational process. Becoming an affiliate will allow you to participate in the SRI community in many ways; the most immediate is securing your right to vote in the upcoming board election. You must be an affiliate in order to vote and only those that are currently affiliated will receive a ballot on December 10th. Not sure if you are an affiliate? You can check by utilizing the affiliate search.

There is no financial requirement or obligation associated with SRI affiliation, and the process is simple. Click on the ‘Join SRI’ link on our website, and show your commitment to SRI by filling out the affiliation form. This is an important step in joining the hundreds of SRI colleagues who are actively engaged in creating and sustaining our organization, one that is “fiercely committed to educational equity and excellence.” By becoming an affiliate you are added to our affiliate email list and you become eligible to vote in SRI elections, to serve on SRI work groups, apply for scholarships, and to run as a candidate in future elections! We strive to be an organization whose members are active participants and your affiliation demonstrates your commitment to SRI and the SRI community. Please join us if you have not done so already.

Voting for the board elections will begin on December 10th – be sure to confirm your affiliation status today!
